Smoke Alarm Installation Program

Smoke alarms are supplied to us by various Federal and State Grants through a federal program.  If you are unable to afford a smoke alarm for your residence, please call Petersburg Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Services at (804) 733-2328 .  You will be asked a series of questions to determine your eligibility set forth by the public educator.  If you qualify, a free smoke detector will be properly installed by one of our staff (based on availability of smoke alarms).
