Petersburg City Council Elects Mayor and Vice Mayor
Petersburg City Council held an organizational meeting this afternoon. Sam Parham was re-elected by fellow Council members as Mayor. Parham was first elected as Mayor of Petersburg in January 2017. He has continued to serve as Mayor since that time.
Darrin Hill was elected as Vice Mayor. Vice Mayor Hill has served on Petersburg City Council since 2015. Hill replaces Annette Smith-Lee as Vice Mayor.
The terms for Mayor and Vice Mayor are for two years.
