The City of Petersburg Public Utilities would like to make you aware of some activities that will be taking place in various neighborhoods over the next few weeks. Contractors working for the City of Petersburg will be locating your water line by excavation. Excavation will be minimal and be limited to the immediate vicinity of the water service line to your home. The City of Petersburg is collecting water service line material information.
The City of Petersburg will work closely with the residents and regulatory agencies to deliver a high-quality project, while minimizing disruptions to you and the environment.
The City of Petersburg Contractors may need to walk on your property to gain access to water service boxes that are at or near the property line.
Access into your home is NOT required. All City of Petersburg personnel and contractors are required to carry identification badges.
All work is expected to be conducted on weekdays during business hours.
