Petersburg Tax Billing Services Outsourced
The City is pleased to announce an improvement to the tax billing process to provide more efficient and reliable services for Petersburg customers. Starting this month, DIVCO Data will manage the printing and mailing of Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills. This change includes a new format for Real Estate tax bills, which will be due on December 31, 2024. A new format for Personal Property tax bills will be mailed in February 2025.
The contracted system will prevent past issues, such as double billings and other technical problems. The City appreciates customers' understanding as we transition to improved services.
Customers can continue to view and pay utility bills online HERE. The online payment portal is accessible from 4:00 am to 11:00 pm each day. For assistance with online payments, please email treasurer@petersburg-va.org or call (804) 733-2322.
