Want to learn more about the RBC Dealer Institute?
There are two informational sessions coming up on June 18 and 25 from 5 - 7 pm!
These sessions are held in the Ernst Auditorium at Richard Bland College - 11301 Johnson Road.
Live! Casino Virginia is co-sponsoring the RBC DEALER INSTITUTE with Richard Bland College and the City of Petersburg, scheduled to begin Sunday, August 4, 2025 at the soon to open Richard Bland College Workforce & Career Readiness Center located at 3333 S Crater Road, Suite 4A, in Petersburg.
The new Live! Casino Virginia temporary gaming facility will create approximately 500 permanent new jobs for local and regional residents, with more than 100 of those positions being table games dealers. The Dealer Institute was established to provide qualified applicants with the skills necessary to embark on a career in the gaming industry and the opportunity to interview for a dealer position at Live! Casino Virginia.
Interested applicants do not need casino, gaming or dealer experience to apply to the training institute or attend the information sessions. Interested individuals must sign up in advance for the information sessions prior to registering for the training. Please visit

The Dealer Institute is conveniently located at 3333 S Crater Road, Suite 4A, scheduled to begin August 4, running Mon-Thurs. 8am-12pm, 2pm-6pm & 7pm-11pm. All classes will be taught by experienced, licensed and dedicated instructors who will professionally prepare students to enter the fast-paced casino industry. Enrollees who successfully complete the course will be provided the opportunity to apply for positions at Live! Casino Virginia. Completion of the course does not guarantee employment.
Live! Casino Virginia’s is set to open its temporary gaming facility in Petersburg, VA by the end of 2025.
