City of Petersburg Government Offices Closed on Labor Day
All Petersburg City government offices will be closed on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day. This includes Petersburg Area Transit offices and all bus service operations. All City offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 2 for normal hours of operation.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will be open on Labor Day. Visit www.dogwoodtracegolf.com to book a tee time.
Farmer Street Pool will be open Saturday, August 30 – Monday, September 1 from 12 pm – 6 pm (closes for lunch from 3 pm – 4 pm).
There will be no Meridian Waste or CVWMA recycling collections on Monday, September 1. Trash and recycling pickup in Petersburg will move to the following day for the remainder of the week. Collections normally scheduled for Friday will be on Saturday.
