Meetings

  • Regular meetings are scheduled to be held on the first Thursday of each month beginning at 6:00 PM. The Commission generally does not schedule meetings in August. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed. All Meetings are scheduled and advertised in accordance with Public Meeting Law requirements.

Application for Placement

Applications for requests for placement on the Planning Commission agenda should be submitted to the clerk of council at least four weeks prior to the meeting date. A pre-submission meeting should be scheduled with the Planning Department to discuss the requirements and content for a complete application / submission.

The notice / advertising of a required public hearing for a zoning request, or any other matter requiring a public hearing, is initially published two weeks prior to a regular meeting. The deadline for Planning Commission items can be found here.
