City of Petersburg Government Offices Closed for

Christmas Holiday

Petersburg, Va: City government offices, including City Hall, the City Hall Annex, and Petersburg Parks & Leisure Services, will be closed on Monday, December 25^th and Tuesday, December 26^th in observance of the Christmas Holiday. Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Wednesday, December 27^th.  

The Petersburg Freedom Support Center will close at 12:00pm on Friday, December 22nd and reopen on Wednesday, December 27th.

The Petersburg Public Library will remain open during regularly scheduled hours on Saturday, December 23rd. The Library will be closed on Monday, December 25^th and Tuesday, December 26^th. 

Dogwood Trace Golf Course will close early at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 24^th. The Course will be closed on Monday, December 25^th and will reopen on Tuesday, December 26^th during normal business hours.

Petersburg Area Transit administrative offices and customer service will be closed on Monday, December 25^th and Tuesday, December 26^th. Bus service (including para- transit) will also shut down on Monday, December 25^th.

Regular bus service (including para-transit) will resume on Tuesday, December 26^th.

Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) Tuesday residential recycling and residential trash collections will be delayed one day. There will be no collections on Monday, December 25^th and Tuesday, December 26^th. Normal Tuesday collections will take place on Wednesday, December 27^th.
