Voluntary Home Surveys

Petersburg Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services provides Voluntary Home Surveys.  This program gives residents an opportunity to have their home surveyed to assess for any potential fire hazards that may be present.  The survey differs from an "inspection" in that the resident will be given suggestions on how to make their home safer.  This program is also free and available to residents of the city.

To schedule a smoke alarm installation, voluntary home survey, or any other fire and life safety information, contact the Public Fire and Life Safety Educator at 804-733-2328 .
